These squash are grown by using organic methods. They are over 2 pounds and will keep thru the winter if stored in a cool dry area. Several cooking methods can be used. Cut one in half, scrape out the seeds and bake in the oven till soft. Or peel the skin off with a veggie peeler, cut in half, scrape out the seeds, cut up in chunks and steam until soft. Mash up with a fork or mixer, add butter and salt and pepper.

DSFM has a no shipping set up in that all products purchased on this site will be picked up at the DSFM location on Saturday mornings from 10:00am to 11:00pm.
Individual stores (vendors) within this system may setup any other method they choose as long as the customer is happy with the arrangement.
It is the policy of DSFM that the customer shall be made happy, IF possible. Any customer that requests a refund (or the DSFM board declares necessary), the refunded amount will be billed to the vendor in question. We urge all vendors to work with their customers in a friendly and timely fashion as to keep your customer, and ours, happy.
